Dr. Gesoff knew she was destined to be an equine veterinarian from the time she was eight years old. After graduating from the University of Florida in 1993, she followed her dream and has now been practicing medicine for almost 27 years. Dr. Gesoff spent significant time with both standardbred and thoroughbred racehorses in both New York and California prior to living in Florida. Spending most of her career on the race track, Dr. Gesoff focuses on lameness diagnoses and treatments and upper respiratory issues. However, since she has been practicing in Florida over the past 15 years, she has become quite proficient in treating skin issues, summer sores, nonhealing wounds, eye issues, lacerations, foot abscesses, laminitis, navicular syndrome, and colics.
Dr. Gesoff has refined her surgical laser techniques in combination with her custom summer sore cream to treat nonhealing wounds and summer sores, thus decreasing healing times significantly for her patients. Dr. Gesoff’s main focus is to provide quality veterinary medicine at a competitive price for her clients. Open communication, efficiency, and promptness are of extreme importance in her practice. Dr. Gesoff is able to provide multiple services including, but not limited to, radiography, ultrasonography, and upper airway endoscopy.
